Sun Earth Moon

So what exactly are Solar Eclipse and Lunar Eclipse

A solar eclipse occurs when the Moon passes between Earth and the Sun, thereby totally or partially obscuring Earth's view of the Sun.
And it looks something lik this:

A lunar eclipse occurs whenever the Moon passes through some portion of the Earth's shadow. This can occur only when the Sun, Earth, and Moon are aligned exactly, or very closely so, with the Earth in the middle.

The most recent total lunar eclipse was on 28 August 2007 which happened just now. Click to see
But i didn't catch that due to the bad weather HERE! Can't see anything but thick clouds. =(

I love astronomy! It is really complicated though. but i dont mind learning...
