this is total absurd!

shit. went to repair my ipod on wed at cine. that service centre had only 1 pathetic counter available out of 4 counters.and i waited for abt 1/2 hr and they only had 1 customer. 2 in total! so i thought apple products are quite durable when i saw the no of people waiting at the queue.(only me and another guy).

and u know what the guy told me?

Service man: it looks like the hard disc itself had crashed, its like the heart has died

Me: oh!

Service man: hmm... im afraid this might cost quite alot

Me: (thinking inside my mind) alright i knew it wld be quite Ex to repair...SIAN!
Service man: Becoz.......... we cannot repair apple products coz the apple company in US doesnt allow us to like open the apple product in SG so therefore we cannot check or repair, if u want we can only help u replace another identical one but u have to pay the usual price for abt 549 bucks.

Me: HUH??i was like OMG -.-!!! WTH did he just said! (dont get it look on my face)

Me: o ok... meaning if my warranty havent expired i can get a replacement of a brand new ipod absolutely free?

Service man: Yes!

Me: er... (nth to say..)

Service man: yup. i suggest u might as well get the new itouch one instead of the old one.. tt wld be more worth it..

Me: OH OK -.-!!! (thinking): of cos i can if i wan... wif money, i can get anything i wan.. i can u know... just pay la.... err how can u expect me to buy when im broke right now? :(:(:(

I WAN MY IPOD BACK!!! =(

i cant believe apple in SG cannot repair products one.. what nonsense is this!
i love itouch, i love apple products! but now i think i will most likely think twice before getting another apple product.. they shd extend the warranty to at least 10 years man... AWWWWWWWWW!!!wy so stupid one? after 1 year if product spoil must get new one? u think $$ print?

AHH.....now i know why the service centre seems alittle "dead"... wonder what are APPLE service centres for? -.-! btw my warranty expired 1 year ago =(
